What types of propagation models are used in the Ranplan product range?

The primary propagation model used in Ranplan products is a true 3D raytracing model which has been modified for computation efficiency and speed, this model is present in Ranplan Professional and DAS.
Ranplan Tablet utilises what we term as a 2.5D raytracing model to generate system performance evaluation metrics.
The 2.5D raytracing model is designed to provide good performance when running on a system with reduced processing power for example, on a low to mid-range windows tablet.
This model differs from the full 3D raytracing model used in other Ranplan variants but still takes into account cross-floor coverage and equipment mount height while only outputting a 2D heat map or coverage plot.
