The device database in Ranplan products has two formats. The first is the public database which is shipped with the software, this contains device specifications that the manufacturer has made publicly available.
The second is the private devices databases which are held in *ddx files. The private device databases contain more sensitive pieces of equipment which would generally require an NDA with the manufacturer to obtain the specifications for.
If you are missing devices for a certain manufacturer, then please contact a support representative and request permission to access them.
